ECFE & KINDERGARTEN CONNECTION What is ECFE? ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) is a program for parents and children ages birth to Kindergarten. ECFE recognizes parents are a child’s first and most important teacher! We provide parent education, together with early childhood education for parents and their children. Parents and children participate in classes, parent discussion groups, special events, or field trips. What is Kindergarten Connection? The purpose of Kindergarten Connection is to help prepare children and families for their upcoming Kindergarten Experience. Children attend a 2 1/2 hour Pre-Kindergarten program 2 days per week. Parents need not be present at these sessions but are surely welcome to visit or volunteer at any time.
