The Murray County Central School District participates in the National School Lunch Program. All of our students are offered a wonderful breakfast, FREE of charge. Take advantage of this program!
MCC has an automated meal system. This system allows you to prepay your child’s meals. Individual meal accounts are created for each child enrolled at MCC, siblings are grouped together in a family account. This account is like a debit checking account. Check or cash deposits are made to the account by parents. At the point of purchase when your child picks up lunch or milk, the cost of the meal or milk will be deducted from your family's account.
Checks, written out to 'ISD 2169', can be dropped in the school office between the hours of 7:30 am-4:00 pm, in the lunch line at Central or given to your classroom teacher.
It remains MCC's policy that families pay for meals before they are eaten.
A complete meal must consist of at least 3 items, one of which must be at least a ½ cup fruit or vegetable for K-8 and 1 cup of fruit or vegetable for grades 9-12. Portion sizes must meet the minimum specified amount- please use the utensil provided and obey all signs by the serving lines.
If your family qualifies for free or reduced meals please note: a full breakfast and lunch must be taken by the student to receive the free meal. Milk only, a la carte items, or extra entrées will be charged to the student’s account.
