Dear Murray County School District Families and Patrons:
I am grateful for the support our voters continue to provide our school district.
As a school district community, we have long been recognized for our commitment to education and to the youth that we serve. This is clearly reflected again in your decision at the polls on Tuesday. I am pleased to share that the capital project levy question passed by a margin of 65% to 35%. With a total of 578 voters, there were 375 yes votes and 203 no votes. This means that our students will continue to benefit from having the resources necessary to maximize their learning opportunities at Murray County Central.
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support. On behalf of the entire school district, we appreciate your trust in us to be good stewards of your tax dollars and use these finances effectively to benefit our students.
Joe W. Meyer
Superintendent of Schools
