The softball game in Ellsworth today has been postponed to May 19.

With the weather forecast of 31 degrees for a high and 20 mph sustained winds at meet time we will be canceling the JH meet today.

The Creative Writing Awards Ceremony and reception was held on April 24th at SMSU in Marshall. Sixty-nine talented students entered this writing contest in the categories of poetry, fiction and non-fiction. The following 6th graders were awarded medals and an anthology. Tyler Reith was 2nd place in poetry. Michaela Muecke was 3rd place in poetry. Annie Scandrett placed 1st & 2nd in non-fiction. Adelaide Lundy placed 3rd in non-fiction. Congratulations writers!

Opening night of Children’s Theater was a lot of fun!




MCC posted some great scores at the Mountain Lake Golf Course today. McKade Gillette led the Rebels with a 47 and finished in 3rd place individually. Ava Johnson carded a 53 earning 2nd place for the girls. Great job Rebels!

A fun day at the Ag Olympics for FFA week! We also recognized all our State bound FFA teams. Good luck at State!





On Thursday, these MCC 5th and 6th grade students traveled to SMSU to participate in the regional Math Masters competition. They all did amazing and represented MCC very well! Congrats kids!! A lot of hard work and practice went in to prepare for the event. Kudos to coach, Mrs. Tammi Paulzine, as her kids are always very competitive at this event.
Lots of individual awards were given, along with special shout-out to the teams:
FIRST place (of 18 teams) 6th team!!!
5th Place (of 18 teams) to the other 6th team!
6th Place(of 17 teams) for the 5th graders!
A total of 195 students from 4th-6th grade participated in the regional event. CONGRATS TO YOU ALL!!





Varsity baseball will be played in Tracy due to field conditions in Milroy. The JV game is canceled and there will be no practice.

MCC Golf had a great night on their home course!
MCC girls defeat Adrian with a team score of 226 to 228. Ciera Tutt tied for runner up with a 51.
MCC boys fell to Adrian 242 to 182. Eli Hernandez carded the low score for MCC with a 49.

Today 5th and 6th graders traveled to SMSU for the Math Masters Competition. The 6th grade teams placed 1st and 5th out of 17 teams. The 5th grade team placed 6th out of 17 teams. Individual awards went to Carter R. (3rd), Gary P. (5th) and Annie S. (9th) out of 81 participants. Fact Drill awards went to Suttyn S., Brecken L., Joelle H., Annie S., Noah H., Brielle P. and Alex H. Congratulations!!





MCC Softball wins in the bottom of 7 innings 7-6 against MLA/C. B-squad wins 10-3, 8th grade lost 2-4 and 7th grade won 10-8. Go Rebels!

Rebel baseball defeats MLA/C 8-2. Abe Paulzine gets the win, striking out 8 in a victory for the Rebels. MCC returns to action tomorrow @ TMB. GO REBELS!!!
