On Friday Aug. 16th, the school along with the Murray County Foundation will be hosting a celebration to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the 1924 high school building. There will be a program by Janet Timmerman from 9:00-9:30 am providing history of the school and other stories. The building will be open for tours and "open house" from 9:30-11:00 am. This is all open to the public!

This is a reminder that we will be having the 2024 MSHSL Fall Sports Eligibility meeting tonight starting at 6:00pm in the MCC Auditorium. Fees for each sport is $60 with a family max of $300. Cheer mini clinic will be July 25th from noon to 4:45 in the competition gym at Central. Cheerleaders will walk to the football field where there will be a performance at 5:00. They will be dismissed from the field. 7-12 Tryouts for football cheer will be on Friday July 26th at 9:00 a.m. in the competition gym at Central.

Culture Club enjoyed time in Athens, Greece, exploring the Plaka district, the Acropolis, and dancing at Greek night. We spent 3 days cruising the Aegean Sea and were able to visit Santorini, Greece 🇬🇷 and the ancient city of Ephesus in Turkey 🇹🇷.

The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican City were favorites while in Rome. We also toured the Roman Catacombs and Basilica of St. Paul.
