Congrats to Brielle Plotz for winning state for the Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest and going to Nationals for her handwriting.

This week in 7th grade math, students have been working with transformations on a coordinate grid. Today's task was a partner activity called "Sage & Scribe" where one student had to describe the exact steps needed to create their translation correctly, while the other had to do the writing and drawing. A good challenge for students in giving accurate directions!

The Tim Orth game that was being held in Winthrop tonight has been postponed to a date to be determined.

Due to the impending weather the section speech meet has been moved back 1 hour on Saturday. The meet will now begin at 11:00am. The bus leave time will be determined tomorrow afternoon. Go Rebels!

Congratulations to the 5-6 grade students on their music performance "The Variety Show!" Great job to everyone!

Spring athletics will still have indoor practices as normal. Please follow the practice schedule on the school website under the Activities Director tab. Sorry about the confusion.

Unfortunately the spring season is postponed until further notice. Once our facilities and area facilities are able to resume we will notify you. We are looking into alternative options to compete. Please refer to the K-12 activities calendar on the MCC website! Sorry for the inconvenience and understanding.

Thanks to everyone who helped to pull off another great 'Reality Check' event! Students had many 'aha' moments as they learned about managing their money after high school.
