Today we held the MCC 5th-8th grade spelling bee. There were 12 participants who competed in 3 rounds to determine the top 5 spellers, and ultimately the student who will represent MCC at the Regional Spelling Bee. Our 12 spellers from MCC were Paige Schuur, Khloe Galvez, Lilyana Elliott, Hadley Harms, Carter Larson, Zachary Haken, Scotty Broeckel, Parker Winter, Atticus Olson, Dominic Opdahl, Cassie Scandrett, and Jonah Paulzine. Congratulations to Zachary Haken who will represent MCC at the Regional Spelling Bee in February!

The Warriors drop a pair of matches tonight in Redwood. Minneota upends the Warriors by a score of 59-10. Redwood prevails in thriller over the Warriors 35-34.
