This week at MCC:


There is no need to cook on Thursday. The MCC boys basketball team hosts RTR starting at 5:00pm. The Junior/Senior After Prom will be hosting a Burger feed from 4:30pm to 8:00pm. Let the Murray County Cattlemen cook for you. $10.00 for a meal or $5.00 for a Burger. Do you feel like desert? Lingen Dairy will be on hand for a bowl of Ice cream for $5.00. All proceeds will go towards MCC After Prom.

Good luck to the MCC Junior High basketball teams as they travel to Minneota to play the Vikings. The boys will be in the Auxiliary Gym and the girls in the Viking Gym with 7th grade tipping off at 4:30pm followed by the 8th grade. Go Rebels!

Monday January 6th is a scheduled TNT 2-Hour Late Start. Breakfast will be served at West and Central as a grab and go option from the kitchen from 9:45-10:00am.


Due to the Vikings game tonight, open baseball will be moved to 5:00-6:00 pm. Softball will stay the same from 6:00-7:00 pm.

F/MCC Warrior wrestlers competed at the 70 team "Rumble on the Red" tournament in Fargo, ND. The varsity finished 35th scoring 22.5 points. No individuals placed in the top 8. The JV finished 33rd scoring 95 points. George Rosenbrook finished in 6th @ 88 pounds and Truman Olsem finished 8th @ 139 pounds.



Congratulations to Sophia Nelson & Hudson Schryvers for being chosen as the MCC Triple 'A' Award winners. The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher-grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.
Nomination Criteria to be eligible for the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award a student must:
- be a high school senior at the time of nomination.
- Schools may nominate one senior boy and one senior girl for this award.
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of nomination.
- participate in at least one League-sponsored athletic program and one arts/activity
program.
- comply with the MSHSL's Student Code of Responsibilities.

Due to transportation issues for Pipestone we will be postponing todays girls junior high game. They will practice after school till 5:00pm in the high school practice gym.
