Women & Investing Informational Class
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 75% of our elderly poor are women. Despite advances, women remain less prepared to provide for their future financial security. Taking charge of your money is far easier than you can imagine and this course could be your first step. Learn about investing for your financial future and don’t wait for a crisis (divorce, illness, unemployment, or death) to spur you into action. From investment basics to evaluating your financial portfolio – we will talk about goal setting, risk and reward, and the tools to meet your goals. This is strictly a learning class and there will be no solicitations. Join Carla Goedtke & Katie Furth in the High School FACS Room on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 6:30 pm.

The book fair is open at West elementary! Shop until 6:30 tonight

Under the new Graduated Driver License Law passed January 2015, students must now submit a drivers log verifying 50 hours of supervised driving time with a parent or guardian (15 of those hours must be nighttime driving). Parents attending a Point of Impact course are issued a parent certificate of completion which can be submitted to reduce the required supervised hours to 40 hours (15 of which still need to be nighttime driving). Behind the Wheel instruction DOES NOT count toward your hours. The 2020 Point of Impact course will be on Tuesday, March 10 from 8:00-9:30 pm in the MCC High School Auditorium (due to the Township Election Day, we cannot have any activity between 6:00-8:00 pm). This meeting is not mandatory and is for parents who have children enrolled in Behind the Wheel and Drivers Education Class.
