Murray County Central High School has a full time teaching position in the Physical Education/ Health Department. The teacher in this position would be responsible for our HS weight training classes as well as JH phy. ed/ health classes. *Possible coaching opportunities are also available. Because of softball, baseball, golf, and track practices starting & unable to be outside at this time, the new practice gym will be closed for night open walk/run sessions (6:00-9:00 p.m.) until further notice. The morning open walk/run is still open from 5:30-8:30 am Mon-Fri .

It’s Coaches vs. Cancer Day!! Wear pink or yellow. Come on out to the gym tonight. Burger Feed 5-7:00. Coaches vs. Cancer game at 7:00 with the students taking on the staff. Free will offering, and buckets will be passed during the game. Halftime activities include auctioning of Vikings and Twins tickets. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Thanks for your support. Let’s finish the fight!

Great season Boys Basketball! They finish the season with a 19-7 record. Undefeated at home. It was fun watching all season! Rebel Pride!

Cancer Awareness Week continues today and we invite everyone in Murray County to show your support for Relay for Life. If you have a Relay shirt, where it to school or work today.

Science Fair Judging took place at West Elementary this morning. Seventeen students amazed us with their projects and scientific knowledge.





Wednesday is “Hats On For A Cure” Day. Wear a hat to show your support for the fight against cancer. Students and staff in grades 7-12 can pay $1 for the privilege to wear a hat all day.

We hope the whole community will join us in wearing PURPLE on Tuesday to show support for those who are fighting cancer.

MCC Schools will be 2 hours late on Tuesday, March 5th 2019.

MCC Schools will be dismissing at 1:00pm today, Monday March 4th. High School conferences will be moved to tomorrow night, Tuesday March 5th from 3:30-7:00pm in the New Gym with the sports eligibility meeting to follow at 7:30pm in the auditorium.

Boys basketball won against Adrian 73-41!

Boys basketball is winning at half time against Adrian 38-17!

The Public Servant "Open House" that was scheduled for Monday, Feb. 25th has been cancelled due to available dates through March. We will try to have this event in the fall of the 2019-2020 school year.
