On behalf of the 4th grade class, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Lunch Buddy volunteers for the time, energy, and kindness they shared with us this year.
Their presence brought joy and encouragement to our young readers, many of whom eagerly looked forward to their visits. Whether it was helping decode tricky words, talking through stories, or just sharing smiles over a good book, they helped foster a love of reading and learning that will stay with our students for years to come.
Thank you for showing our students that reading can be both fun and meaningful—and that there are caring adults who believe in their growth. We are truly grateful for their time, generosity, and the positive example they’ve set.
Todays track meet in Worthington has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The Conference golf meets scheduled for today in Sanborn and Fulda have been postponed to May 8.

During this National Volunteer Week, April 21-26, 2025 we would like to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power our volunteers have on the education of our students. From our lunch buddies, volunteer readers, library/book fair aids, to our volunteer coaches and all others who give of their time and talents, we thank you and appreciate you! It takes a village!
