Due to the projected rain and high winds tomorrow morning, our 2nd-6th grade awards program / 6th grade recognition has been moved to the auditorium at Central at 10:00. Please enter through the front doors. The balcony and middle of the auditorium seats are reserved for family and friends. All other seats will be reserved for the elementary students. Golf Sections Day 1 Results
MCC golf had a solid day in Worthington despite wet playing conditions. The boys team unfortunately did not make the cut for day two, but have four individuals advancing. Lucas Kuball, Dawson Schreier, Jett Veldhuisen, and Hudson Schryvers will compete individually next week for the final section meet. On the girls side, the team will be advancing on. Ava Johnson led the girls golfers today with a 93. Rachael Huso and Lizzie Daniels are also heading into next week at the top in 3rd and 4th place.





Congrats to the MCC baseball team as they received the #1 seed in the upcoming section tournament. They will host Wabasso on Saturday in the first round. Go Rebels!

Social 7-Block 2 Oregon Trail Winners! Over the last 3 weeks 7th grade students have gone through a simulation to experience life on the Oregon Trail. This "Wagon" experienced their ups and downs but reached the final destination the quickest in the class by 2 days!

5th and 6th Grade Band Concert










The Class of 2024 participated in their Senior Walk today! Congratulations to our graduates!











Due to a schedule conflict at RRC we will not be playing a JV or JH game against RRC/WWG. Varsity baseball will play RRC/WWG at 4:00pm at Boelter Field followed by our JH and JV having an inter-squad scrimmage. We will honor our seniors and future Rebels after the games with a cookout. Go Rebels!

The start time was wrong for the baseball game today. The game will start at 4:00pm for Varsity and 8th grade. JV and 7th grade will follow varsity and 8th grade.

Good luck to the Rebels baseball team as they host the Red Rock Central Falcons today. Varsity first pitch will be at 4:30pm. Junior Varsity will play innings after the Varsity. 8th grade will start at 4:30pm followed by 7th grade. Go Rebels!


The Spring Band and Choir Concert did not disappoint! We have so many talented musicians! Thank you for a wonderful evening of music.










5th grade had a fun day on their class trip to Skate City and Sky Zone!

2nd grade enjoyed their Bike Rodeo today! Special thanks to Slayton Police Department for teaching us about bike safety. The Murray County Sheriffs Department for helping with the bike course and bike inspection. The Murray County Ambulance for helping with the bike course and the donation of helmets. Also to the Slayton Fire Department and Midwest Supply for the donation of helmets.

The Rebel softball team earned the 4 seed in the upcoming section tournament. They will play in Edgerton on Tuesday, May 21 at 4:30pm against BOLD. If they win they will play at 6:00pm that night in Round 2. Here is a link to the bracket: https://5il.co/2lzra Go Rebels!

The 4th graders are on their campout today! So far this morning they've got to learn about reptiles and search for microinvertebrates while learning about Lake Shetek's ecosystem!
