
The 5th and 6th grade Math Masters students competed in Marshall today. The fifth grade team placed third overall in their grade level, and the sixth grade team placed second overall in their grade level! Caroline Stoel placed 3rd individually for the fifth graders. Carter Larson placed 4th individually, and Zach Haken placed 3rd individually for the sixth graders.
Participants included: Caroline Stoel, Cassie Scandrett, Brenner Schryvers, Christian Hansen, Gavin Wynia, Garret Joens, BR Heronimus, Kyra Baumgartner, Isabela Schreier, Addison Winters, Hadley Harms, Wes Biegler, Zach Haken, Carter Larson, and Paige Schuur.
There were approximately 50 teams and 250 students that participated in the competition, which was held at SMSU.



World Down Syndrome Day is tomorrow March 21st. People celebrate in a lot of ways, but one fun and easy way is to wear your crazy socks! Students are encouraged to wear crazy/silly socks tomorrow if available.

What a fun month we had celebrating reading with the elementary students! Our Scholastic book fair sales were $2599.10, earning $1039.64 for our school libraries. Special thanks to our book fair volunteers, honor society students and 6th graders for their assistance.
