The MCC Speech team competed in the RTR Knights Invitational. The team took 3rd place.
In Duo, Lila and Annie Scandrett earned a mini lightsaber. In Extemporaneous Reading, Cassie Scandrett earned a mini lightsaber.
In Extemporaneous Speaking, Holland Vogel placed 1st and Wesley Hause placed 2nd.
In Humorous, Ethan Parrie placed 1st, Walker Biren earned a mini lightsaber, and Logan Stoel earned a mini lightsaber. In Original Oratory, Lila Scandrett placed 1st. In Prose, Annie Scandrett placed 2nd, Lilly Gertsema placed 6th and Brecken Larson earned a mini lightsaber.

It was a great day today for our 5-8 students participating in the Choral Festival. Special thanks to Dr. Kingsbury, Mrs Gergen and Mr. Holton for all their work in making this day possible!



Girls results from the Mt. Lake golf course. Team scores are as follows: MCC 214, MLA 218 and RRC was incomplete. Individual scores for MCC were Rachael Huso-47, Lizzie Daniels-47, Natalie Einck-54, Emerson Meyer-66, Brielle Plotz-70 and Hadley Harms-75.
Boys results from Mt. Lake golf course. MLA shoots a 182, MCC 204 and RRC 219. Individual scores for MCC are as follows: Kaden Landsman-46, Hunter Reese-50, Gary Plotz-51, Jett Veldhuisen-55 and Edwin Nepp-70.

The 5th and 6th grade Math Masters teams competed today in Marshall. Over 250 students and about 50 teams competed across three grade levels. For the 5th grade competition, the MCC team placed 12th place. In the 6th grade competition, the two MCC teams placed 5th and 2nd! For the individual portion of the competition, Ryker Almich placed 8th, Zeplin Baumberger placed 6th, and Casper Harms placed 4th!

At the meeting of the Southwest Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals Spring Meeting in Springfield today, he was recognized as the SWMASSP High School Principal of the Year!
